Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
Conduct dental hygiene procedures and patient screenings across two established offices in Moon Township and Coraopolis, PA, following a split schedule of Monday and Wednesday shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Deliver preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health while utilizing digital x-rays, electronic medical record systems, and diagnostic tools like Velscope and Diagnodent. Maintain accurate medical history documentation and perform clinical duties as required by the office, including lifting up to 45 pounds and prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Complete a pre-employment tuberculosis test and attend periodic virtual or in-person training sessions. Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Pennsylvania
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
