Job Summary
Perform thorough dental cleanings including scaling, polishing, and root planing, while taking radiographs and conducting oral health assessments to chart conditions. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care, and prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments according to infection control protocols. Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the dental record while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards. Schedule is full time, four days a week with no nights or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in the state of practice
- Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
