Job Summary
Conduct preventive dental care and patient screenings for new and re-care appointments, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and digital x-rays. Deliver clinical excellence through strong communication and relationship-building while maintaining accurate medical history documentation. Work Monday and Friday shifts in a supportive environment with Dr. Colangelo and Dr. Mickoloff, adhering to specific appointment time blocks for quality care. Maintain CPR certification and complete required TB testing as part of the pre-employment process.
Required Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene License
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
