Job Summary
Dental Hygienist to join a periodontal team for part-time shifts (Tuesdays 7:00 AM–2:00 PM and/or Thursdays 7:00 AM–3:00 PM). Provide preventive and periodontal care, perform cleanings (scaling, polishing, root planing as needed), take and develop radiographs, conduct oral health assessments, educate patients on oral hygiene, prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, assist the dentist during exams and procedures, document care in dental records, monitor supplies, and ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance. Requires valid Dental Hygiene license in the practice state and an Associate degree in Dental Hygiene; strong communication, compassionate chairside manner, proficiency with dental software and digital charting, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
