Job Summary
Dental Hygienist needed to join the Hygiene team at Gaines View Dental Care in Athens as Heartland Dental expands. You’ll provide preventative dental hygiene care, act as a patient advocate, and work with a mentorship program to develop clinical skills. The role involves using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical records to screen patients and document medical history. Physical duties include lifting up to 45 pounds and completing a TB test prior to starting. Availability for virtual or in-person training periodically is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Georgia
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
- CPR Certification
