Job Summary
As a Dental Hygienist with Heartland Dental, you’ll join a collaborative team delivering preventive dental care and patient education within a supported office setting. You’ll provide dental hygiene services, perform patient screenings and medical history documentation, utilize tools such as digital x-rays, Diagnodent, and Velscope, maintain accurate records in an EMR system, and uphold CPR and safety protocols. You’ll contribute to ongoing education through our hygiene mentorship program, support the clinical team, and help patients achieve optimal oral health through evidence-based preventive care.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- CPR Certification
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
