Job Summary
Dental Hygienist responsibilities include ensuring patient comfort prior to examinations, sterilizing instruments, performing initial mouth screenings, identifying gingivitis/caries/periodontitis, cleaning and protecting teeth, educating patients on proper oral care, providing post-procedure instructions, taking X-rays/impressions, assisting dentists with treatment planning, and maintaining patient documentation. Requirements include proven hygienist experience, HIPAA knowledge, strong communication, attention to detail, stamina for physical demands, and a valid license.
