Job Summary
Provide preventative dental care and overall maintenance for patients through clinical procedures, screenings, and medical history documentation. Utilize modern tools including Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to deliver exceptional lifetime care. Participate in a robust mentor program and attend virtual or in-person training sessions to enhance clinical skills. Complete required TB testing prior to starting employment and maintain availability for periodic training throughout the year.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in IL
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test

- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
