Job Summary
Conduct daily dental hygiene procedures including patient screening, medical history documentation, and preventative maintenance under a schedule of Monday-Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Utilize advanced tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems while adhering to clinical needs as required by the office. Maintain CPR certification and complete a tuberculosis test prior to employment. Work in a supportive environment featuring a hygiene mentor program and access to virtual or in-person training sessions to enhance clinical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Wisconsin
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
