Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive dental hygiene procedures and patient screenings while documenting medical histories. Perform preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health using digital x-rays, electronic medical record systems, and diagnostic tools like Velscope and Diagnodent. Work Tuesday through Friday with Tuesday-Thursday hours from 8a-5p and Friday from 7a-3p. Complete a tuberculosis test during pre-employment. Join a team supported by a robust mentor program and educational offerings within a network of over 3,000 supported doctors.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Minnesota
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
