Job Summary
Performs diagnostic and preventive dental hygiene procedures under the direction of a dentist; uses the dental hygiene process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care aligned with clinical standards; educates patients on effective oral hygiene practices; documents assessments and procedures in the patient’s electronic dental record; maintains infection control and instrument sterilization; collaborates with the dental team to care for diverse patient populations and supports overall clinical excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene
- Unrestricted Wisconsin Registered Dental Hygienist license
- State of Wisconsin certification in the administration of local anesthesia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at time of hire, or within three months of employment
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with acceptable MVR
