Job Summary
Perform periodontal procedures in accordance with state dental board requirements; educate patients on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease and overall oral health; chart periodontal disease conditions for collaboration with the Dentist to develop treatment plans; work with the team on scheduling and maintaining a high-quality patient experience and keeping equipment and facilities in good condition.
Required Qualifications
- Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board with no adverse actions
- Two (2) + years’ experience as a licensed Dental Hygienist preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills with both the team and patients
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 20% to support surrounding offices
