Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health through screening, medical history documentation, and clinical procedures. Utilize Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to ensure accurate patient care and support. Collaborate with a practice manager and on-site team to provide exceptional lifetime care while adhering to office clinical needs. Complete required TB testing prior to employment and attend periodic virtual or in-person training sessions. Work within a supported professional corporation environment offering mentorship, continuing education, and access to high-quality supplies and labs.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Massachusetts
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
