Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health through clinical procedures, screenings, and medical history documentation. Utilize diagnostic tools including Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to support patient needs. Maintain patient records accurately while adhering to clinical protocols for dental hygiene procedures. This role requires a current Michigan dental hygienist license and CPR certification. Applicants must be available for virtual or in-person training sessions and complete a pre-employment tuberculosis test. Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Michigan
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
