Job Summary
Conduct thorough prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and restorative applications including fluoride and sealants while administering local anesthetics as permitted. Accurately chart patient dental histories, update periodontal records, and manage records securely in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide oral hygiene education, nutrition counseling, and general assistance directed by the dentist. Work flexible schedules with front office staff to maximize patient time, supported by a dedicated coaching team and corporate resources for billing, marketing, and IT.
Required Qualifications
- A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program
- valid state license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Excellent verbal skills to communicate professionally with patients and staff
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to travel between locations
