Dental Hygienist

Conduct preventative dental procedures including thorough prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and sealant applications while educating patients on oral hygiene and nutrition. Accurately chart patient dental histories, update periodontal health records, and manage files in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Administer local anesthetics as permitted by the dental practice act and assist the dentist with treatment plans. Partner with the clinical team to build a robust recall program and maximize patient appointment time.
