Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
Provide oral hygiene services including thorough prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and application of cavity preventative agents. Accurately chart patient dental history, periodontal health, and treatment records while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Administer local anesthetics as permitted by the dental practice act and assist the dentist as directed. Partner with the clinical team to build a robust recall program and educate patients on oral hygiene and nutrition. You work with front office staff to control your schedule and maximize patient time. Required Qualifications
- A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program
- valid state license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Excellent verbal skills to communicate professionally with patients and staff
