Job Summary
Provide oral hygiene services including thorough prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and application of cavity preventative agents. Accurately chart patient dental history, update periodontal health records, and handle records securely in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Administer local anesthetics as permitted by the dental practice act and provide assistance as directed by the dentist. Collaborate closely with the dentist and support staff to build a robust recall program and maximize patient time. Work flexible full-time or part-time schedules with front office coordination. Requires a valid state license, CPR/BLS certification, and ability to travel between locations.
Required Qualifications
- A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program
- A valid state license
