Job Summary
Provide oral hygiene services including thorough prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and restorative applications while accurately charting patient dental history and periodontal health in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Administer local anesthetics as permitted by the dental practice act and offer counseling on nutrition and oral hygiene techniques to support patient treatment plans. Partner with dentists and support staff to build robust recall programs and manage appointments to maximize patient time. Required Qualifications
- A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program
- valid state license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Excellent verbal skills to communicate professionally with patients and staff
