Job Summary
Conduct thorough prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and restorative procedures while applying fluoride and sealants. Accurately chart patient dental history, periodontal health, and treatment records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Administer local anesthetics as permitted and provide oral health education on hygiene techniques and nutrition. Partner with dentists to build robust recall programs and assist with directed clinical tasks. Manage your own schedule in collaboration with front office staff to maximize patient time.
Required Qualifications
- A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program
- A valid state license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Excellent verbal skills to communicate professionally with patients and staff
