Dental Hygienist

Provide oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and application of cavity preventative agents such as fluorides and sealant applications; accurately chart patient dental history and periodontal health, update as necessary, and handle patient records securely and in HIPAA compliance; provide assistance as directed by the dentist; administer local anesthetics where allowed by the dental practice act; work with the dentist(s) to deliver optimal patient care; support and participate in a recall program; participate in patient education on oral hygiene and nutrition; and collaborate with the hygiene support and broader office team for ongoing clinical and operational excellence.
