Job Summary
Conduct thorough prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and sealant applications while administering local anesthetics as permitted. Accurately chart patient dental histories, update periodontal records, and manage files in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide oral health education on hygiene techniques and nutrition counseling, assisting dentists on directed tasks. Work flexible schedules with front office staff to maximize patient time, supported by a dedicated coaching team and corporate resources for growth.
Required Qualifications
- A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program
- valid state license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Excellent verbal skills to communicate professionally with patients and staff
