Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
Deliver exceptional patient care through preventative maintenance and overall dental health education while managing clinical needs as required by the office. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools including Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to screen patients and document medical histories. Work full-time hours Monday through Thursday from 6:30am to 4pm, providing full clinical autonomy within a supportive environment that includes mentorship and access to virtual or in-person training. Maintain a license in Texas and hold CPR certification to ensure safe, high-quality service to the community.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Texas
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Excellent working knowledge of dental hygiene procedures
- Excellent working knowledge of dental patient screening
- Excellent working knowledge of medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting
- Prolonged periods standing
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
