Job Summary
Provide preventative dental hygiene care as part of Heartland Dental’s new hygiene team at a Surfside Beach location. As a Dental Hygienist, deliver patient-focused oral care, perform patient screenings and medical history documentation, utilize digital x-rays, scanner technology, and EMR systems, and participate in a robust hygiene mentor program and continuing education offerings. Possess and apply strong clinical skills to educate patients, support high-quality care, and maintain a safe, compliant dental office environment. Training and onboarding will occur at a nearby location prior to full integration into the team. Must have an SC dental hygienist license and applicable degree; CPR certification is required; new grads welcome; TB testing is part of pre-employment in dental offices.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- CPR Certification
