Job Summary
Provide exceptional lifetime dental care to patients as an integral member of the patient care team, utilizing clinical skills to deliver preventative care and overall maintenance of dental health. Perform patient screening and medical history documentation while operating diagnostic tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems. Maintain a collaborative environment on an 11-person team at 1613 E. Pflugerville Parkway, Pflugerville, TX, with full-time hours and access to a robust mentorship program and continuing education opportunities. Complete required TB testing prior to employment.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in TX
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Dental hygiene procedures
- Dental patient screening
- Medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
