Job Summary
Deliver personalized patient care and preventative maintenance while managing clinical needs as required by the office. Provide comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, x-rays, and electronic medical record systems. Work alongside a collaborative team to build meaningful relationships with patients and advocate for their lifelong oral health. Participate in mandatory TB testing and complete virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Minnesota
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
