Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive preventative dental care, including patient screening, medical history documentation, and overall maintenance of patients' dental health. Perform essential clinical procedures using digital x-rays, electronic medical record systems, and diagnostic tools like Velscope and Diagnodent. Collaborate with Dr. Abeln and a seven-person team to deliver exceptional patient experiences while adhering to daily morning huddles and specific shift schedules. Maintain a safe environment by completing required tuberculosis testing and attending periodic virtual or in-person training sessions. Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Pennsylvania
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
