Dental Hygienist

Perform oral prophylaxis, topical fluoride treatments, and periodontal surgical procedures including supra and sub gingival scaling, root planning, and gross debridement. Screen patients for caries, periodontal pathology, and medical history while providing oral hygiene instruction and radiograph management. Initiate and maintain the dental prevention and education program, assist in training dental assistants, and participate in staff meetings and committees. Work two days per week within the Health Center, acting as a team member who resolves conflicts and maintains patient confidentiality. Requires a current State of Ohio Dental Hygiene License and proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
