Job Summary
The Dental Hygienist will provide dental hygiene services such as teeth cleaning, examination of oral areas for disease signs, and patient education on oral hygiene. Responsibilities include performing dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride application, root planning, conducting thorough patient assessments, documenting findings, maintaining patient confidentiality, and adhering to COVID-19 protocols. Candidates should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong dedication to quality care, and be flexible and self-motivated. This position requires licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist and certification as a Dental Technician.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of dental hygiene
- Registered Dental Hygienist licensure in state of practice
- Current CPR certification is strongly preferred
- Must be a Certified Dental Technician (CDT)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a dental office is a plus
- Willingness to learn and grow
- 1-2 years of experience working in a dental practice is strongly preferred
