Job Summary
Conduct 60-minute recall and 90-minute new patient appointments in a 2-doctor practice using Dentrix, Velscope, iTero, and digital x-rays. Perform patient screening, medical history documentation, and preventative care maintenance while utilizing Arestin and CE coverage. Maintain clinical autonomy within a 14-person team supported by Heartland Dental's network of experts. Complete required TB testing and virtual training sessions. Earn bi-weekly hourly pay with options for daily pay, plus access to quarterly bonuses and mentorship support. Full-time roles require a minimum of 30 hours for benefits including UnitedHealthcare PPO, 401k, and dental/vision coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
