Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, patient screenings, and medical history documentation for patients in a supportive office environment. Utilize diagnostic tools including Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to deliver preventative care and maintain overall dental health. Perform essential duties requiring prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and lift up to 45 pounds as needed. Complete required TB testing prior to employment and attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically. Join a 15-person team within the nation's largest dental support organization, working alongside clinical leaders who retain full autonomy while receiving mentorship and educational resources to enhance clinical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
