Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
Conduct dental hygiene procedures including 60-minute recare and 90-minute new patient appointments while utilizing Dentrix for electronic medical record documentation. Perform patient screening and medical history reviews, and operate diagnostic tools such as Velscope, iTero digital scanners, and electronic x-ray systems. Maintain patient dental health through preventative care and clinical maintenance as required by the office. Work Monday through Friday with rotating hours from 4am to 7pm, including morning huddles. Earn bi-weekly pay with the option for daily paychecks and qualify for quarterly bonuses. Join a collaborative 9-person team supported by Heartland Dental, which provides access to mentors, continuing education, and a network of experts across the nation.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
