Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health, while utilizing Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems. Perform patient screening, document medical histories, and deliver exceptional lifetime care aligned with the doctor's clinical philosophy. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:50 AM to 5:00 PM at Forum Dental - St. Robert in St. Robert, MO. Join a 15-person collaborative team supported by a robust mentor program and access to continuing education resources.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
Desired Qualifications

- Experience using digital x-rays
- Experience using electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
