Job Summary
Provide preventative dental care and overall maintenance for patients, including 60-minute recare and 90-minute new patient appointments. Utilize Dentrix electronic medical record systems and advanced tools like Velscope, iTero, and digital x-rays to deliver clinical services. Maintain patient screening and medical history documentation while adhering to essential duties such as prolonged periods of standing and lifting up to 45 pounds. Complete required TB testing and attend virtual or in-person training sessions. Earn bi-weekly pay with options for daily pay and quarterly bonuses. Join a collaborative 13-person team supported by Heartland Dental's extensive network of experts.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test

- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
