Job Summary
Conduct preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems. Provide education and care to patients while working full-time hours with a schedule that supports work-life balance. Participate in virtual or in-person training sessions and utilize the hygiene mentor program to enhance clinical skills. Deliver exceptional lifetime patient care within a collaborative team environment supported by Heartland Dental's expansive network of experts and best-in-class supplies.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Indiana
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
