Job Summary
Deliver exceptional patient care and preventative maintenance while managing clinical needs as required by the office. Utilize diagnostic tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to screen patients and document medical histories. Maintain full clinical autonomy within a collaborative 10-person team supported by a robust mentorship program and virtual training sessions. Work a flexible schedule with options for a 2-4 day work week, balancing duties with periods of sitting, standing, and lifting up to 45 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in WA
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Dental hygiene procedures
- Dental patient screening
- Medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
