Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and oversee patient care in a pediatric dental environment while making decisions regarding direct treatment needs and communicating with team members. Implement and evaluate dental care based on individual patient requirements and dentist orders. Maintain equipment, supplies, and office cleanliness; prepare the room by adjusting suction, air, water, nitrous, oxygen, computers, and TVs. Review patient charts for visit reasons, medical history, x-ray needs, and behavioral notes. Ensure the hygiene license remains in good standing with required CE credits completed. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Available to travel between locations to meet operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of Hygiene
- Current Hygiene license in state of practice, license in good standing
- X-Ray Certification
- CPR certified
- Knowledge of dental terminology
- Must be available to travel between locations to meet operational needs
