Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive preventative care and dental hygiene procedures to patients using modern technology including AI scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems. Perform patient screening, document medical histories, and maintain overall dental health through clinical maintenance. Collaborate with a 15-person team and two doctors while utilizing the robust mentor program to enhance clinical skills. Complete required TB testing prior to employment and attend periodic virtual or in-person training sessions. This role offers a sign-on bonus, competitive benefits, and six paid holidays within a new relocation practice in Blaine, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in MN
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
Desired Qualifications
- New Graduate or years of clinical experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
