Job Summary
Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene care while building trusting relationships with patients. Educate patients about their oral health and treatment needs through focused, long-term interactions rather than high-pressure sales. Collaborate closely with the doctor and clinical team to deliver an exceptional patient experience at every visit. Continue developing clinical skills through the dedicated Hygiene Mentor Program and access to continuing education resources. Perform essential duties including prolonged periods of sitting and standing, lifting up to 45 pounds, and completing required TB testing prior to employment. Join a supportive, collaborative environment where you practice at the top of your license with full autonomy.
Required Qualifications
- Current Hygiene license in Minnesota
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Dental hygiene procedures
- Dental patient screening
- Medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
