Job Summary

Responsibilities include charting, ensuring HIPAA-compliant operations, quality assurance, and assisting with discharge planning, with a focus on individualized dental care plans, safety, and infection control. Requires licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Florida, BLS, OSHA/biomedical waste certifications, and at least two years of clinical experience with HIV-infected patients. The role emphasizes administrative duties (charting, billing documentation), clinical procedures, patient education, and adherence to agency guidelines and emergency/COOP procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Florida State License as Registered Dental Hygienist is required
- BLS certificate is required
- Biomedical Waste and OSHA certifications are required
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Two years of clinical experience with HIV-infected persons
