Job Summary
Perform oral prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal treatments, and radiographic procedures while assessing oral health conditions and documenting findings. Remove sutures, polish restorations, and assist chairside during examinations as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, disease prevention, and post-treatment care, reinforcing treatment plans and preventive recommendations. Obtain medical histories and medication lists, maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic health record. Collaborate with dentists and team members to support patient flow and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Requires Ohio licensure and strong communication skills within a clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Dental Hygienist in the State of Ohio
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
