Job Summary
Provide patient care and support in an enthusiastic way, building personal connections at every visit. Collect dental and medical history, prepare patients for the Orthodontist, and handle X-Ray procedures while adhering to safety protocols. Bond and remove brackets, place and remove arch wires, and educate patients on oral hygiene habits and treatment progress. Update patient records, perform lab duties as instructed, and maintain all dental instruments and equipment. Travel to satellite locations if necessary and work cohesively with the team. This role offers a competitive hourly wage between $37 and $55, comprehensive benefits including medical and vision coverage, and educational reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree program
- Registered and/or licensed by the dental hygiene regulatory authority within province, in good standing
- Current CPR and First Aid training
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Experience in an orthodontic office
