Job Summary
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, remove plaque and tartar, and assess patients for oral disease while documenting findings. Take, process, and interpret dental radiographs, apply preventive treatments like fluoride and sealants, and educate patients on oral hygiene. Review and maintain accurate patient records, support dentists during procedures, and ensure strict compliance with infection control and safety protocols. Assist with operatory setup, manage clinical inventory, and collaborate with the Clinical Manager to support patient flow and training sessions. Communicate effectively with front office teams during peak times and participate in team meetings to support practice improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain all required licensure, certifications, and continuing education in accordance with state regulations
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and flexibility in a fast paced clinical environment
- Work collaboratively with leadership and clinical team members to support practice goals and high standards of patient care
