Job Summary
Perform daily dental hygiene procedures including patient screening, medical history documentation, and preventative maintenance care. Utilize diagnostic tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to deliver exceptional lifetime patient care. Maintain clinical skills through ongoing education and mentorship support while adhering to office-specific clinical needs. Complete required pre-employment TB testing and attend periodic virtual training sessions. Possess a current Minnesota dental hygienist license, CPR certification, and ability to lift up to 45 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Minnesota
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
