Job Summary
Provide oral health education and counseling for dental patients; record patient-hygienist transactions in the dental record; support appointment processing to keep hygiene flow moving (including taking x-rays, charting, chair turnover); maintain instrumentation (sterilizing, sharpening); maintain professional knowledge via workshops and professional societies; ensure cleanliness of the practice environment; participate in broader mission to deliver high-quality dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children; in addition to duties, perform other duties as needed; prior pediatric dentistry experience and EHR software experience preferred.
