Job Summary
Provide exceptional lifetime care to patients as an integral member of the patient care team, utilizing best-in-class support and educational offerings to enhance clinical skills. Deliver preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health while adhering to clinical needs as required by the office. Maintain excellent working knowledge of dentistry, hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation. Join an 11-person team with a robust mentor program and networking opportunities. Requires a current Florida dental hygienist license, Associate's or Bachelor's degree, and CPR certification. Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Florida
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Excellent working knowledge of dental hygiene procedures
- Excellent working knowledge of dental patient screening
- Excellent working knowledge of medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
Desired Qualifications

- Experience using Velscope
- Experience using Diagnodent
- Experience using digital scanner
- Experience using digital x-rays
- Experience using electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
