Job Summary
Dental Hygienist performing hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, fluoride and sealants; conduct oral cancer screening and periodontal assessment; select materials for hygiene visits; educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative instructions; document hygiene services and chart patient histories; sterilize equipment and take x-rays as needed per ADA recommendations; requires RDH license in CT and an associate’s degree; full-time position at Waterbury Dental Care (Waterbury, CT) with posted hours Wed-Fri; Dentrix Ascend software experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Valid license to practice in Connecticut (Registered Dental Hygienist, RDH)
- Available to work within current office hours, specific shifts to be determined
