Job Summary
Full-time Dental Hygienist needed to perform dental hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, fluoride and sealants, and radiographs. Responsibilities include oral cancer screening, evaluating periodontal status, selecting materials/equipment for hygiene visits, educating patients on oral hygiene, documenting vital signs and dental histories, sterilizing equipment, and taking X-rays as recommended. Requires Associate’s degree in dental hygiene and Connecticut RDH license; Dentrix Ascend software experience preferred. Office in Waterbury, CT with standard shifts; strong teamwork, communication, and adherence to policies are valued. Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Valid license to practice in Connecticut (Registered Dental Hygienist, RDH)
- Available to work within current office hours, specific shifts to be determined
- Dentrix Ascend software experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines
- Possess a professional and positive attitude
