Job Summary
Provide exceptional lifetime dental care to patients as an integral member of the clinical team, utilizing best-in-class mentorship and educational resources to enhance your clinical skills. Deliver preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health while maintaining accurate medical history documentation. Perform essential duties including prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and lift up to 45 pounds as required by the office. This role offers a supportive environment with a robust mentor program and access to virtual or in-person training sessions. The position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus, competitive benefits, and six paid holidays. Applicants must hold a current MN dental hygienist license and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in MN
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
Desired Qualifications
- New Graduate or years of clinical experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
