Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including patient screening, medical history documentation, and preventative maintenance care. Utilize diagnostic tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to deliver exceptional lifetime care. Provide patient education and support within a team focused on clinical excellence and mentorship. Requires a current MN license, Associate's or Bachelor's degree, CPR certification, and ability to lift 45 pounds. Full-time or part-time Monday through Thursday, 8-5.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in MN
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
Desired Qualifications
- New Graduate or years of clinical experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
